Vin had his orchiopexy (the fellas got brought down) sugery today.
This kid is such a trooper...
We were up and out the door at 5:30 am and he was all smiles and giggles!
Until he started to figure out what was going on!
Then he decided that it really wasn't so bad...
Getting wheeled away...
I know this was a pretty common surgery with minimal implications, but still I had to worry!
After 7 pokes, they finally got the i.v. in (I am glad they did the i.v. after he was put out!).
The surgery took a lot longer than I expected about 1 1/2 hours for each side.
The doctor repaired two hernias as well.
I actually enjoyed the quiet time and took a little nap and got caught up on a few soaps.
The best part of the day was all of the snuggles Vinny had waiting for me when he came out of surgery!
I am so thankful that everything went well and he is at home sleeping it all off!
Hopefully the "boys" won't be to sore tomorrow!
Awww! I hope he isn't too sore too. Use them pain meds!

I HATE the "wheel away" and I LOVE the post surgery snuggles. That's great that he's able to be home today!
