As I was sitting here typing the previous post, I look over at Vinny in his bassinet and he was rolled over to his side! I called Jim in here to see if I was seeing things and wouldn't you know it the little bugger rolls to his back and then back over to his right side! He did it several times while Jim and I were watching him.
We were so excited!!! I grabbed my video camera and caught it on tape...thought I would share it with you... enjoy!
Who would think that I would start getting tears in my eyes over something so simple that "all" babies do? I know he is not rolling over all the way, but this is the first step...my little guy is starting to figure out how his body works and that he can make it move! As I look over at him right now, he is sleeping on his side...I am so proud of him! Go Vinners Go!!!
That's great news! I'm glad you were able to get a video. When my little guy started rolling, I never saw him do it for what seemed like a long time. I would walk out of the room and come back, and he was in another position, but he wouldn't do it in front of me. Haha.

ReplyDeleteI absolutely think that this is one of the biggest joys of having a "special" kiddo. You don't just say "Oh, crap, he's getting mobile," you CHEER as if he's just won the Piston Cup (sorry, I've seen CARS one too many times ...) everytime they do something new.
