football & Labor Day

We had a fun filled and busy Labor Day weekend! It started off with Jim taking Avery to the first Husker game of the season. Jim said they had a blast and that Avery got caught up in all of the "Husker excitement"!

The boys got to play their first football game of the season. Just our luck both of their games were at the same time! Luckily we were able to go back and forth between the two!

Avery is on the same team as two of our neighbor boys.

Avery's team is the Patriots this year.

Leo's team is the Giants.

Leo was so excited to finally get to play football! When the ball was passed to him, he turned around and ran as fast as he could towards the end zone...to bad it was the other teams end zone! Oh well he still had fun and thought he was so so cool!

Notice the pants that Leo has on...He had to make sure that he dressed his part. All of the other kids wore blue athletic shorts...but not Leo!

He is lovin the mouth piece!

On Sunday, we had our 4th annual Circle Party with our neighbors. We live on a circle with five houses and have the coolest neighbors ever!!!!! This year the theme was Hawaiian Luau! Lots of decorations, food, drinks, fun, and staying up really really late! Every year we get an incredibly large sports bounce house! The kids (and some adults) bounce their hearts out for two days straight.

Leo had fun dressing for the occasion with his Hawaiian shirt and board shorts (imagine that).

Frankie had a blast as you can see!

Grandpa made sure Vinny was out in all of the fun and even gave Vin his own Lai.

All in all we had a great weekend. Avery did get the stomach bug on Sunday night and puked so many times that I lost count. Can you say puke every where in my house? I lost count of all of the loads of laundry and cans of Lysol that have been used over the past three days. This evening he is finally back to his old self and ready for school tomorrow.

I hope everyone has a great week!
