i don't know

These are the words I have been hearing all week long!

Frankie comes up from the basement looking like this! When I asked him what happened "I don't know" ---then it was "Leo did it". I never heard any crying, so I guess that is good!

I went to put clothes away in the boy's closet and this is what I came across! When I asked what happened to the little red stool...."I don't know" were the words that came out of all three mouths.

Later Frankie told me that he and his friend Ava were playing house in his room and this was the "wheelchair"...hmm??

Now this kid...the one who NEVER does anything wrong, the one who always listens....did a real doosy this week!

I was at an eye appointment with Vinny when Jim called to tell me that he was going to take the boys with him to work out and that I could pick them up from there. While I was on the phone with him I could hear Leo crying in the background...followed by a panic scream from Jim...then the phone line went dead!

I called Jim right back and asked what was going on and he told me that Avery had "driven" the car down the driveway! WTH?

Apparently he had left Frankie, Leo, and Avery--BELTED in their seats while he ran in to call me quick (no Jim doesn't have a cell phone).

Leo came running in (hysterically bawling) to tell Jim that Avery had driven the car down the driveway...

Jim goes out to see what was going on and apparently Leo was right...

The car was sitting in the middle of our circle!!!

When Jim asked Avery how the car had gotten there, he replied "I don't know"!

To make a long story short, Avery decided that he was going to "practice" driving and accidentally put the car in neutral and it rolled out into the street...

Who knows if this is what really happened???

I am just thankful that the boys were not hurt or anyone else or object for that matter!

Avery got a good talking to and I know he will NEVER do something like that again (at least I hope)!

Lets just say he was scared shi*less!

So were we- Jim especially!!

He will definitely not be leaving his car running with the boys in it anymore!

Believe it or not, Leo has been absolutely wonderful this week! Not many "I don't knows" from him...

He helped me clean the basement today and is now the "official" vacuumer!

Had to put a pic of the world's cutest 19 month old up!

Love the eye contact he was giving me!

Have a great week!

  4. Staci,
I just saw a prayer request for this family on "twitter". I haven't read the whole blog, but glanced at the first post which was when she was born and diagnosed with CdLS. Maybe you have read her story, but it sounds like she has been a very sick little girl. Maybe your "readers" can pray for them too.

    Take care,
