chaos

This past week has been chaotic for me! More so than usual!

It seems like it drug on and on....I am so glad that it is Sunday and a new week is about to begin!

Our schedule usually consists of Jim working on the weekends and I work during the week in the mornings. This week Jim had to work all week long, so I felt like I was on my own with the boys and our daily life activities!

As usual the laundry piled up--this doesn't look like a lot, but considering it is on a king size bed it REALLY is! This pile took me about 2 hours to fully complete and put away---yuck!

My Dad is absolutely WONDERFUL! I don't know what I would do with out him! I am so lucky to have him in my life! He helped me out tremendously this week!

Every morning he would come over and watch the boys so I could go to work. He got them breakfast and made sure every body played nicely!

If you can't tell, the boys are in love with him! I think he is the worlds best grandpa!
We wouldn't have made it through the week if it wasn't for him.

Avery and Leo couldn't stay inside with the nice weather!

They used every excuse to get out and play...

Which is fine by me!

I sometimes will put Vinny in his highchair in front of the sliding glass door so that he can watch the boys...

Jasper decided that Vinny's highchair was the perfect spot to lounge...

I think he got down after a few seconds of Vinny man handling him!

In the middle of the week, Vinny got really sick!

I took him in to the doc's and after two hours of tests and x-rays, it was determined that he had pneumonia!

After a shot, oral antibiotics and steroids and some breathing treatments we were sent home.

Took about three days for him to start feeling better...

I sure missed his giggles and smiles!

This weekend we went out of town to Kearney for the Midwest Classic Wrestling Tournament (this is our third year).

Me, Jim, Avery, Leo, Vinny, and Grandma and Grandpa headed out for a two day trip.

Frankie had the privilege of staying at my good friends house and being spoiled by them!

There were a ton of kids in the tournament (I think around 1500), so we spent a long exhausting day waiting for Avery to wrestle.

Unfortunately this year was not his year! He did not get to bring home any metal!

It was a very humbling experience for him as he has had a fantastic year of wrestling!

He didn't stay upset for long as the swimming pool awaited!

The boys had so much fun swimming and hanging out with friends!

Jim and I had a good time with my parents and spending time with friends.

It has been a long exhausting (chaotic) week! In the end I am happy that it is over and looking forward to what next week will bring!

This is how Vinny has spent the last part of the weekend...

Catching UP!

  1. Wow! Lots of stuff went on this week! First of all, that pic with vinny and the cat is great! My cats stay far away from the kids!

I'm glad he is feeling better and that you have a brand new week, which hopefully is less chaotic!
