So I have been thinking alot about my "one of those moments" and talking with Misty (fellow CdLS mom) this past week. I came up with the idea of having "CdLS awareness" bracelets made to give out to friends and family to further help with the awareness and education of Vinny and CdLS.
So after doing a little research and talking with the CdLS Foundation I have decided to have some made up to give out.
Misty had the great idea of asking all of you blog readers for help in what to exactly have put on the bracelets...so I am looking to YOU to help us...
Please post in the comment section what you would think I should have put on the bracelet...any and all ideas are welcome (can have 25 characters including spaces)...
Also if you would like to get some of these, please let me know as I would be happy to put in an order and ship them out to you (the more you purchase the cheaper the cost). One bracelet could cost anywhere from $2.50 to $1.29.

that's an awesome idea! depending on what mood i'm in i can think of 12 different things to say that are vastly different themes, if you know what i mean :) so i'll think about it today and get back to you, but thanks, you guys, for this great idea!
ReplyDeleteps - i have been daydreaming that maybe someday mckmama will notice all of us and throw a little CdLS awareness help our way, but maybe the bracelets are a better place to start :)
That is a great idea! I don't have any thoughts because I'm sure whatever you come up with will be fantastic! Let me know when they are ready cause I will definitely order some!
ReplyDeleteLisa Leonard did an awareness necklace "Find Joy in the Unexpected" that I LOVED! If people wanted to try to do that at all maybe we could ask her permission to use it??
